I live in the wonderful state of Louisiana. New Orleans is my home.
Its has been through so much in the last few years, but its resilance shines through over and over. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Men always say there is something about "girls" raised in the south and its true. Southern charm runs through my veins and believe me its a switch you just can't turn off.
I have two beautiful sons one 9 and one 6. I love them so much I can't believe it myself.I don't get to spend enough time with them, but I'm working on that.
I am with a wonderful man whom I love more than anything in this world. I love and admire him greatly for his humor, hard work, and loving ways....And his amazing way of always coming out on top....no matter what the circumstances. He is the walking talking lifesize version of SHREK, just not green. But, I couldn't ask for anyone better in my life.
I had a little brush with CANCER in May(Mother's Day to be exact). I hope every day that I don't take a moment for granted. I understand LIFE is a gift and should be cherished NOT wasted. I did come home with a new look on life in general and for this pessimest thats pretty good. I want to be around for a bit longer...so, I'm trying to take care of myself.
I am a lover of CHOCOLATE & CHEESECAKE (there are some things that sugar-free just can't touch!). Drink water & diet coke all day long. I fear wrinkles but am not vain. I believe in standing strong for issues and causes because without doing so nothing in this world is going to change.
My kids are my proudest accomplishment in life. I believe in God but not in religion. Self-respect is my highest value. I spend too much time on the Internet but never go into chat rooms. I have developed a love for MYspace, I have founf OLD friends from child-hood. I work at night, I love the night. My favorite Holiday is Halloween and my greatest passion is friends and family. I love spending time alone and would gladly do that over anything else. I reflect on life a lot and love learning new things. I'm always learning something. I am going back to school in January.
