Although I don't advocate sitting your baby, toddler or preschooler down in front of the TV on a regular basis - I think some TV time is appropriate. My daughter has learned so much from these videos (animal names & sounds, body parts, etc.) I generally sit with her while these videos are on, but these DVDs are also fabulous when used as the occasional "babysitter" so you can clean the bathroom or do some laundry.
