(02/03/11) This is a weighty, durable fine silver ring made with pmc3. I used molds that I made of twigs from a tree in my back yard when making this ring. I wrapped the silver twigs around a thin silver band that I had pre-made giving the ring a solid lining and tapered the back of the shank to ensure a comfortable fit. The lining also adds more durability and patina was added to enhance the detail. This ring measures a 7.5 ring size and is 3/4" wide in the front and tappers to 1/4" wide in the back. I love the combination of romantic and modern and this ring melds those two looks so nicely. ♥ The ½” (12 mm) wide sterling silver band is etched by me with a pretty floral design. It is slightly flared at the edges and it has two Sterling Silver hammered spinners. The spinners move freely on the ring, held on by the flare of the wider band’s edges. Sizes can be 3 – 11 including ¼, ½ or ¾ sizes. I have inexpensive ring sizers available for sale in my shop (see the section titled “ring sizers”) so that you can determine your correct size. Depending on the design, some finished rings cannot be resized. Wider rings like this one should be made 1/2 to 3/4 size larger than your normal size to accommodate their width.
