For this ring I melted Moretti Teal and Aqaumarine glass rods in the flame of my torch. The two colours create a very nice shade of Seafoam Green. I've sculpted ripple designs into the surface. This handmade glass ring is inspired by Beach Glass. No real beach glass was harmed in any way. I don't go to the beach and collect glass to melt. People always ask and I don't want be misleading. The photos were taken on a bright sunny day in natural light. The ring is a size 10 1/2. It's narrower at the back for a comfortable fit. The glass has been lightly etched to give the glass a slightly smoother finish. It looks just like beach glass, worn smooth by the action of sand and waves. I take great care in shaping these rings. There are no sharp or rough edges. Many people wear these rings and tell me that they are really comfortable. They are made of glass though, and should be treated with care.
