PROJECT: Favor Tags

I loved doing the favor tags. It was easy to do. You can do at least 15 on one sheet. These tags didn’t have the eyelet by the holes. If you don’t have an easy-to-use eyelet setter, I don’t recommend doing them. Besides, they’re still pretty, even... See more more

ok, so if i get married in the keys, how cool would it be to have key lime cookies in the shape of a sand dollar (with the sand dollar cookie cutter). i do like the lime shape of the cookie in the pic too. that may be easier, and less expensive than springing for the $25 dollar sand dollar cookie cutter. the only reason i would make them myself would be to save money (they are $75 for about 100 cookies). it all adds up!

I so want to try this recipe myself. I love key lime anything!

I have to do this because it is way too cute and beach themed. i love that the sugar on the cookies looks like sand. I also like the idea of repeating elements (woven basket for shoes, fan programs, out of town gift baskets, and this favor) I can find the baskets (do a search for palm leaf box) for much less inexpensive. Also, the cookies are less expensive if purchased in bulk. Instead of favors, since all of my guests will be out of town, I may do palm leaf out of town bags instead (with the cookies, bottle of wine, bottle opener, Florida map and hurricane survival guide, haha). Hopefully the gift bag can serve as a favor also, since it will be pricier and will be given to each guest... just a thought.
