Trend setter, envelope-pusher, and music maker Rihanna has traded in her umbrella ella, ella, eh, eh, eh for a new accessory—the eye patch. Seen here on the cover of her single ‘Russian Roulette,’ from the upcoming album ‘Rated R,’ Ri-Ri sports a peek-through studded eye patch. The hit singer also wears an eyepatch (solid black) in her new video ‘The Wait is Over.’ So what do you think—is the new way to do up your eyes to completely cover them up? Share your thoughts!

If I ever injure my eye, it's good to know that stylish eye patches are available. But except for that happening, I don't see a need to cover my baby blues.

@vntgbabe - I didn't even think about that! Hmmm...I wonder... it's too bad. I loved Chris Brown. Now he's just a complete douche to me (that's putting it nicely). Too bad I still like some of his songs. Bah!
@jinnyjinn - I know!! He's a total d-bag, and such a waste. I thought he could have been the next Michael Jackson. He did a good job of preventing that from happening.

@vntgbabe I totally think that eye patch as something to do with the physical injuries...especially when you pair it with the disturbing barbed wire and the suggestion that she might be hanging from it? There are definitely no coincidences when it comes to images like this. What was she/her people thinking!?

i think it is the new thing. @jinnyjinn: i think it is trying to cover up her injuries. That`s probably why she didn`t lose covergirl. i mean they do use makeup to cover it up!
@atalina_08 - Russian Roulette is not a paper cutter, its a dangerous 'game' involving a revolver, 1 bullet and a group of people taking turns... def. sounds Rihanna is adding a darker tone to her music!
