Did anyone catch this week’s Gossip Girl? I could barely focus on the storyline (perhaps that’s the point) because I was so distracted by Jenny Humphrey’s busy ensemble: Dark smoky eyes, messy bohemian hair, red lips...and don't get me started on the long tie-dye get-up. Lil’ J had a lot going on! At first I thought she looked like a Tim Burton character with large googly eyes and cartoon-drawn lips. But after the initial shock, there was something mesmerizing and chic about her look, restoring my faith in Gossip Girl stylists. After all, if the runway has taught us anything this season it’s that we don’t have to choose between accenting our eyes and going for dramatic lips. Personally, I would have saved this striking look for a special occasion and not just a stroll around the Upper East Side. But then again, reality is not really the point of this guilty-pleasure show.

Jennys look is like a roller coaster for me, it has some ups and many downs. I honestly think that she is a bit too young to pound on the make up she looked so much better when the show first started. I do love the way she styles her hair,i dislike the color though,bleach blonde hair makes her look a little trashy,especially with the red lipstick..kinda like Courtney love minus the huge lips and drugs.

I kind of like the look it may be crazy or different but it might be the way she ends up standing out from everyone else and the blonde really makes her pop in the show although i did like her hair when it was medium length and choppy.
I think that @kaylax3 says it perfectly. Her look is staring to become very washed out and in my opinion, she always looks tired and bored, which is probably due to her eye make-up...She has gorgeous eyes, I bet she would look great with just a few swipes of mascara and some bold lipstick :)
gag - she's just too young to carry off all that make-up and the promo for the show with her squating in the high heels looking seductive just -plain CREEPS me out.
Obviously they were trying to give her an edge to go with the whole artistic clothes designer persona but make-up is not making that statement and nothing she is wearing is fashion-forward or displays that much taste. She just looks kind grunge/Madonna circa 80s.
Never watch the show, never heard of her...
but i love rule breaking, and i love this look.
