It’s one thing to have a conversation about a collection—it’s another to show you. Therefore, I give you these photos of me pre and post-product from Givenchy’s summer collection—specifically Prisme Again! Compact Powder Quartet in Sun Mango ($43) and Pop Gloss Crystal in Sun Coral ($24).

Prisme Again! Compact

The moment I opened this chic black and bronze case, a wonderful fruity and floral aroma emanated—I could seriously sniff this stuff all day! The brush applicator, on the other hand, I found less impressive. But that’s not reason enough to turn my nose up at this overall quite impressive quartet. Although the powder is light (it’s not meant to provide heavy coverage), it evened out my skin tone and gave my complexion subtle natural color—without making me look pink or orange. I gotta say—this compact is a keeper!

Pop Gloss

I have a soft spot for shimmery lip glosses—and Pop Gloss Crystal definitely delivers on the shimmer. Texture is great—not sticky yet still manages to adhere to my lips for an impressive amount of time. And in a season where coppers and corals reign supreme, I’d crown this Sun Coral hue as one of this season’s must-have lip colors.
