Although summer is just getting started, it’s getting steamier thanks to Stila’s new Indian Summer collection. This rich summer set finds inspiration from the Far East and is infused with 24k gold powder. I’m absolutely smitten with the Charmed Eye Shadow Palette ($28), which includes intense teal, shimmery bronze, dusty rose, and a deep burgundy. The highly-pigmented silky shades glide luxuriously on my upper lids and do not crumble onto my cheeks (yay!). The packaging, while not the most durable (it feels like cardboard), is beautifully adorned with bindi appliqués.

I wish I could show as much love for the 24k gloss ($22) since I’m a true lover of Stila’s lippies. Perhaps I received a faulty tube, but when I turned it, the gloss did not come to the brush. Frustrating because I could smell a lovely hint of vanilla and I could see the sparkly rich merlot hue in the clear tube, but my lips were denied its touch.
