When I was little, I told my mom I’d walk my dog everyday if we got one of those retractable leashes. We got one. I still don’t walk my dog everyday. The moral of this fail story is that sometimes, at least for the first couple of weeks, fun tools can make chores more exciting, and dare I say, desirable.

I’d certainly promise to water the plants, maybe even throw in a carwash or two, everyday if I had this yellow Colorful Rubber Hose ($69.95). While I may not actually fuel the photosynthesis process or wax on, wax off daily, I can 100% guarantee I’d soak every single passerby on a warm summer day.
