These label frame images are meant to "bleed," or go slightly over the edge of the die-cut shapes, so there is no white border left around the edge just like the vintage originals. Two sets of coordinating dies are available as well, making them even more versatile. MEASUREMENT REFERENCE: This set comes divided between two 4x6 acetate sheets. (09/30/11) Very rare gray sea glass was used in addition to the white sea glass to create these .925 Sterling Silver wire-wrapped, stacker earrings. According to Richard LaMotte in his book "Pure Sea Glass", gray sea glass "may date back before the early 1900s...finding it would likely be on a difficulty level of one in every 2,000 pieces." It is very, very hard to comes by. I found these flawless pieces in Puerto Rico recently. Each earring measures 1/2" by 1 1/2". They dangle from .925 Sterling Silver earring hooks. I have added some cultured freshwater pearls in ivory and blue. These are truly spectacular shades of all naturally ocean tumbled sea glass. Beautiful Aqua, Pink, Seafoam and Yellow. A sparkly Swarovski crystal has been added at the bottom (really catches the light). The trio of lovely pieces all hang from a solid sterling silver decorative bail. I drilled holes in the glass and soldered them onto hand forged sterling rings which swing from handmade ball end Sterling ear wires.. Finally, I gave them a nice brushed finish to compliment the naturally frosted finish of the Sea Glass. The light shines through the glass as they swing from your ears.
