(08/15/09) We do not coat our jewelry with any lacquer or other chemicals so the metals on this comb will tend to tarnish over time but can be polished up with any silver, brass, or copper cleaner. Also an old tooth brush and some toothpaste can do just as well. You can also just leave the piece alone and let the metals fade to softer tones.See less

(08/08/09) This is a real find... unfortunately I have no clue how to style my hair to wear this hat. It's made of genuine velour in a dark plum color. There is a bit of fading or what I believe to be fading on the top, but when you wipe your hand over it it blends with the rest... I don't know. The hat is in considerably good condition. It is structured and the "curls" on the sides seem to have wires inside them for fitting purposes. This is a true ladies hat.See less
