(05/19/08) I will show you have you can create a slideshow with captured frames from a movie. First we need to capture video frames from the movie and then we will create the actual slideshow. I will use two different programs for this tutorial. Both are available as either free software or fully functional trials. I will use Fast video indexer to capture video frames from the movie and Inzomia image viewer to create the actual slideshow from the captured video frames. Start Fast video indexer and add the movie you want to create a slideshow from. Go to the settings dialog and make sure “extract video frames” and “enable playlist generation” is checked and that “enable web page generation” and “enable index photo generation” is unchecked. Close the settings dialog and click Next to start extracting video frames from the movie.
