    • This is a "if I had a million billion dollars" kinda wish, not something I expect anyone to ever get for me. :P I guess it's actually a pretty good answer to the "what have you always wanted but never actually broken down and bought for yourself?" question. I've been eyeballing Dark Garden's offerings since way before I lived in California, and there've definitely been times when I could've afforded one of their lovely lovely pieces... but I just haven't ever done it. It's SO much money for a piece of clothing!

    • Question: how could you totally make my life? Answer: buy me food at Millennium! Seriously, I love Millennium so much that when I think about how much time I spend NOT eating there (roughly 99.99999999999999999999% of my life) it just makes me sad on the inside. Of course, I don't expect anyone to spring for a full meal for me... but even a tiny gift certificate would be awesome in that it would help me convince my dude to drive me up there so I can blow my bucks on feeding us. "We HAVE to go, we have a gift certificate!"

  • One Yoga Center
    Cancel
    • So I've wanted to take yoga in Santa Cruz since before I moved here! Classes are plentiful and cheap around these parts. A 10 class series runs a mere $80... waaaaay not bad compared to rates for the same thing back in Massachusetts. This is here more as a reminder for myself, I guess... I need to get off my butt and actually call these people and find out how to start taking classes. I think I want to take their Hatha 1-2 class... probably the Monday night one.

  • Ped Egg Official Site, As...

    • Okay, not jokingly, I really want one of these. Or even just a plain old pumice stone. I have got the most hardcore feet ever, which is generally something I love about my body. I can walk on broken glass without even noticing it. Really. They're that hardcore. However, this level of awesomeness is not without its price. At any given time, I have a LOT of dead skin on my feet. In particular, the bottoms of my heels get n-a-s-t-y. Sometimes, if I scratch them, it's just like AVALANCHE of gross. So I want something to slough some of that dead skin off with. The ped egg is pretty great from what I've heard, especially since it apparently catches the dead skin inside of itself for easy trashing/lack of grossness avalanche. I may buy one for myself but probably not because it's the sort of thing I'll never remember to actually order.

    • I'm really interested in Arcana's soaps. (Not so much their perfumes, but a present is a present so, hey, feel free to try me if that's your thing.) I would kill a man for another bar of Filthy Viking, as I used up the last of mine at Burning Man... appropriately enough. Others I'd love to try include The Captain and the Kings, Inari, Festival Floozy, Citrus Paradisii, Frozen Lake (!!!), Soft Hearted (!!!), Alhambra, Breakfast in Hollywood, Burlesque, Lavender Romp, Murder Ballad Blues (!!), Queen Crossbones, Vampire's Garden... yes, I am very, very interested in their soap. Oh, and the one of their perfumes that I WOULD actually like to try is the Tired Hedonist's Club. That does sound like my thing.
