Our dear postman brought Kaboodle team member shewasafraud an eagerly awaited package this week. What was inside you say? Goodies from folica.com, of course! More specifically Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron, CHI Ceramic Flat Iron, Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum and Spornette boar bristle brush.
You might be wondering why shewasafraud purchased two flat irons and she definitely has a good reason. She couldn’t decide between the two flat irons and decided to try out both! Personally, I can’t wait to hear which one works best for her.
I love my HAI ceramic iron. Which flat iron do you use?

Our postman might as well be Santa with all the joy and cheer he brings to Kaboodle HQ. This time it was cristina who was bestowed with a fun little package. Inside the package was this adorable Plaid Heart Ring by Betsey Johnson. So fun!
Cristina likes that this ring is “incredibly over-the-top (some might say “tacky”). I’m not usually into heart-shaped stuff, but the plaid + shiny red plastic + bedazzled-ness = awesome!” I could not agree more, cristina!

The much-anticipated postman stopped by Kaboodle HQ again yesterday. This time he had a package for kristi7 containing two Riller and Fount dresses from Hautelook.com.
Upon asking her what about these dresses caught her eye, kristi7 said, “I’m in love with the Riller & Fount modal fabric. All of their tunics are so incredibly soft. The colors are gorgeous, too—I can’t get over this shade of purple! Now I just need to find the perfect pair of leggings to wear with them.” I held these dresses in my own hands and can personally testify that the fabric is indeed oh-so-soft!

Our favorite postman visited Kaboodle HQ twice this week to grant kristi7 and mamor with highly anticipated packages.
Kristi7’s package from ModCloth had two great pieces in it. She had to have this flattering jacket because it is “adorable and adds a bit of style to a basic outfit.” The gorgeous green dress purchase came about because she was on the hunt for a great dress to wear to a Mad Men-themed party.
Mamor snatched up this Marc by Marc Jacobs houndstooth jacket from Gilt Groupe. When I asked her why she had to have this jacket, she told me “Not only did I get a great deal on this piece (over $200 off the retail price!); it's also a jacket I could carry into other seasons since it's cotton and not too heavy. Plus, who doesn't love houndstooth with bright pops of pink scattered thoughtfully throughout?” I couldn’t agree with her more! She better keep a close eye on it or her jacket just may end up finding it’s way home with me!

You’ll never guess who stopped by Kaboodle HQ today—the beheaded Queen of France and Elsa the Ghost Maid! We all ate cake and then cleaned up after ourselves. Okay so Marie and Elsa didn’t actually materialize—they are both dead—but their clothes arrived (thanks to our favorite postman) so that two Kaboodle team members can do their best to get into character this Halloween.
Triplyksis chose this Marie Antoinette look and says, “I wanted to make
my own Marie Antoinette costume, but ran out of time. I didn’t want to
get one of the many uber-short Marie Antoinette costumes out there so
kristi7 saved me by showing me this full length costume.” For a similar
look, try this one!
Cristina picked this costume and these boots because, “It’s not ‘sexy’
and I wanted to do something kind of spooky and thought I could have a
lot of fun with my makeup.” I can’t wait to see these ladies all dolled
up in their getups!
