Did you know that you can get the Add to Kaboodle button on your iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, or Android device? By doing so, you’ll always be able to keep track of the things you’re shopping for—even when you’re on the go! Read on to find out how!

For the iPhone, iPod, iPad

Step 1: Add a bookmark to any page (doesn’t matter which page because we will be editing this later) by tapping arrow symbol. This will be at the top of the page next to the address bar on an iPad (shown above, at left) and at the bottom in the middle on the iPhone and iPod (shown above, at right).  When the menu slides onto the screen, touch Add Bookmark to create the bookmark.

Step 2: You should now be in edit mode for the bookmark. Erase the text in the first box by tapping the X symbol. Key in a new title; we suggest using Add to Kaboodle (shown below).

Step 3: Delete the web address in the second text box. Copy the blue code below and paste all of it into the address box:

javascript:var%20_mg56v='0.3';(function(){var%20d=document;var%20s;try{s=d.standardCreateElement('script');}catch(e){}if(typeof(s)!='object')s=d.createElement('script');try{s.type='text/javascript';s.src='http://www.kaboodle.com/zg/g.js';s.id='c_grab_js';d.getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(s);}catch(e){%20window.location%20='http://www.kaboodle.com/za/selectpage?p_pop=false&pa=url&u='+window.location;}})();

Step 4: Save the bookmark! Congrats, you’ve just added the Kaboodle button to your i[Gadget]!

To use the button, simply find a product you would like to add to one of your Kaboodle lists. Touch the bookmarks menu and select the “Add to Kaboodle” bookmark you just created. From there, the experience will be just like when you’re using the Kaboodle buttons on your computer.

For the Android Phone

Step 1: Open your Market app and search for “Kaboodle Share.” If you have a barcode scanning app already on your phone, you can use it to scan this QR code (short for quick response). This will take you directly to the Android Market where you can download and install.

To use the button, go to a Web page you want to add from then go to the share menu in your browser. Select Kaboodle from the menu. You’ll be familiar with the rest. That’s it—easy peasy!

Happy on-the-go Kaboodling!

  • Were there recent changes made to it? Because I asked about it a few weeks ago when I finally got a new phone and was told that it worked better on the IPhone, and not so much on the Androids. Report Spam Posted by w1drwomn at 5:57 PM on 04/06/11

  • yep, i added awhile back with not adding as a "bookmark" ,because the trouble of having to open up Safari. But browse to the main page of kaboodle and add to "home screen" and make an icon that I can conveniently touch, it's sorta like an App, lol that's when I realize why didn't Kaboodle made an App. Report Spam Posted by hughvanngo at 6:56 PM on 04/06/11

  • It took me a while to figure this out on my iPad. This article is not very specific. - First, make sure Safari is set properly to do this. Go to your iPad "Settings" icon. Click on Safari and turn on "Always show bookmarks bar"- Now save this page you are on by clicking on the arrow next to the address bar. Make sure you save this page to the bookmark BAR. Here, it will only allow you to edit the title: click the x then replace the existing title with "add to Kaboodle".- Now, save and close the "add bookmark" window- Select the entire link provided in this article and copy.- Open your saved bookmarks window (by clicking on the open book icon), click the "edit" button and click the > symbol next to "Add to Kaboodle".- Select the entire link found there and replace/paste the link from this article.- You are done. "Add to Kaboodle" should be visible on your bookmark bar. Click to save a product on any page. Report Spam Posted by cosmatii at 6:08 PM on 04/30/12
