Getting to Know Your Styleboard Editor
You can create a collage of your favorite handbags, an entire date night look with products from your lists, or your dream bedroom - the options are endless! Read on to get the scoop on how to get the most out of your styleboard editor!
Products Tabs
- In the “My Lists” tab, you can browse through products you’ve added to your own lists on Kaboodle and use them in your styleboard. By default, you will see 100 of your most recently added items. To select a different list, simply use the drop down menu to choose one of your rockin’ lists.
- The “Editors Picks” tab is full of products hand-selected by our editors to compliment your own fab taste.
- In the “Decorations” tab, you can select a background or a border for your styleboard. You'll also see an array of stickers to decorate your styleboard. You'll notice you can change the colors of both the borders and the stickers.
- If you can’t find what you’re looking for on your own lists or our editor’s picks, you can use the “Search” tab to look for that specific item to complete your styleboard.
The Toolbar
The toolbar is where you’ll find all the tools necessary to customize your styleboard. We’ve provided a variety of tools (located above the styleboard canvas) to help you customize your styleboard to be uniquely yours. Read on to get the deets on how to use these tools:
- Use the “Delete” button to delete any product or sticker on your styleboard canvas.
- Want to duplicate a product on your styleboard? No problem! Simply click the “Copy” button to instantly add a second instance of an item.
- The “Flip” button can be u
sed to flip an image both vertically and horizontally. - Use the “Arrange” buttons to position images. The first button moves the image to the top of the pile; the second moves it to the bottom.
- The “Hide/Show BG” button works to remove the extra white space on most images. Simply click on the product you wish to remove the background on and then click the “Hide BG” button.
- Should you wish to upload your own image to your styleboard, you can use the “Upload” button to upload a file from your computer.
- Want a fresh start? Click on the “Clear All” button to remove everything from your styleboard.
Save & Publish
If you need to leave the styleboard editor for any reason, you can save your styleboard by clicking on "Save As Draft” in the toolbar. You’ll be asked to choose a styleboard name, select a category for your styleboard, fill in a description and enter a tag or two. When you’re done, click "Save". To come back to your styleboard drafts, go to the styleboard tab on your profile and click on the drafts link (shown below).
When you’re ‘board is ready to go, simply click the “Publish” button located in the toolbar, fill in your styleboard information, and Voila! Your masterpiece is complete!
