First, install the button by visiting the button setup page and following the direction found there. You can also use the Kaboodle bookmarklet tool which is a button that lives on your browser’s bookmark toolbar and you use the same way as the Add to Kaboodle button. Find out more about the bookmarklet on the setup page.
ADDING PRODUCTS USING THE BUTTON
Now, find a fabulous product to add to one of your Kaboodle lists from anywhere on the Web. Once you’re on the page of an item you want to add to one of your lists, click on the “Add to Kaboodle” button at the top of your browser. Clicking the Add to Kaboodle button takes a snapshot of the product, including the image, description, and price.
Next, you will be asked to select where to store your product. Use the dropdown menu to create a new list for it or choose an existing list as shown below.
If you aren’t thrilled with the image the button automatically selects, you can choose a different image to go with your product information by using the arrows that show up under the picture when you hover over it as shown above. You can also click on “More options” to add your own image by pasting in a URL or by browsing and selecting an image from your computer.
The product’s title, price, and description can be changed by clicking on the boxes and typing your own text or clicking more options to view suggested choices.
Finally, you can add a comment, if you want, and when you’re finished, click “Save.”
After a few seconds, the Add to Kaboodle pop-up will disappear. From here, you can keep looking for products to add, or you can go to Kaboodle by clicking on the Kaboodle button, which will bring you to your activity feed, a section of “My Kaboodle,” where you can see the item you just added. From “My Kaboodle” you can also see the products you’ve added by viewing your lists.
You’ve just learned how to use the Kaboodle button. Now get to adding and happy Kaboodling!
