They have the Vanity Fair label with a cameo on it, which was only used in their older lingerie. A great collectible, they have lettice-edged leg openings and appliques surrounding a tulle insert at one leg. They are very black and pics were lightened to show detail. The majority of the dress is woven silk. Darts run up the abdominal areas and down the shoulders, with the ends of the darts cinching the fabric. A triangular panel in the midsection gives the illusion of a longer torso and a shorter skirt. Velvet-covered buttons open the top half of the dress. The collar and cuffs of the short sleeves are smooth rayon. There are small holes in the back left shoulder of the dress, pictured in detail. The seams near the armpits are loose and can be tightened if desired. The vitality of this piece ranges from sensual lingerie to a unique shell for a day or evening outing.
