^ I think your first comment could be construed as insulting, since you stated that people were only "voting out of friendship".

I liked this photo the most as a SPRING DRESS picture because (1) it's outside, (2) the entrant shows her beautiful smile instead of hiding her face, (3) the dress is beautiful! What is more spring-like than a white, virginal, frilly dress? =) and (4) I found the description to be cute, while providing an interesting history of the dress.

Some of the other semi-finalist dresses are nice, or have interesting photo compositions, but on the whole this one was most "spring" like to me!

shoegirl: everyone has their right to their own opinion. if you think another entry has the best dress, then by all means, vote for them and give them your love. but to write a comment like you left for this girl was downright malicious and sour grapes. you need to know that by adding a weak, "good luck anyway" does not negate all of the spiteful things you said in the first two sentences. think before you type. this is not a forum for perez hilton-ish diva putdowns.
