It also has 3" gussets to give it stability. Outside fabric is white with multi-colored dots and the liner fabric is a beautiful deep turquoise blue. I have included a fabric covered insert to keep the bottom rigid but if you want to use it in a purse or briefcase just pull out the insert. I have also fused on a pretty pink and green ribbon along the top around the great smooth-sliding zipper. The zipper will keep your contents safe. This is a great tote! It has a nice large size. There are no closures or pockets so it is wonderful for overfilling. It is easy to throw things in and take things out. Great for travel, shopping, cruising and beaches. The oaxaca dot fabric is from the Alexander Henry collection. Very pretty, update look. The polka dots are on a crisp white background. The reverse side is a very pretty deep aqua or turquoise color. You can use it either way. It is totally reversible with no seams showing. There is decorative smocking stitching along the top of the tote to add pizzazz. The handles are made out of the blue material so they are soft but very durable! I just love this fabric. I loved it so much that I made this tote from IKEA curtains. I often purchase ready made items and turn them into other items. This large tote is white, orange, pink and yellow. The colors are a bit more muted than in the photos but really pretty. It has a large pocket on the outside. It is not lined but it is a heavy cotton fabric. All seams are finished and reinforced. The handles are a burlap look material but are extremely soft! They will not hurt your hands or shoulder. The straps are nice and long so you can fling this on a shoulder or chair. Great bag for any purpose. Shopping, vacation, beach bag, gym bag, book bag etc. Just roll it up and go. They can take it to the library, races, beach, trips, etc. It has a vinyl like lining made from a new shower curtain so it is easy clean and will hold wet objects well. The bag features one long handle which stays nicely on the shoulder. There is an insert in the bottom of the bag to keep it standing up nicely. The sides are sewn so as to keep the bottom flat and give it shape. Every part is double stitched and the edges are double rolled or pinked for fray resistance. It is lightweight but durable.
