These are a few of the Father's day gifts of the month that I gave my Husband. I wanted to make sure to remind him all year how great a father he is. Blog on this will be soon. :)

These are the VERY BEST gifts....I especially loved getting papers with the outline of my child's handprint on it...whether as a turkey, a flower, or a hand!!

A re-useable bag that you can use for groceries, crafts, a gift for a friend, or any other thing. It is not hard to make, just make sure you have a strong enough needle. I will try to take more pictures the next time and put them in a blog post... See more more

This was kinda neat to make. I'm thinking of adding some decorations to it, but not sure what as of yet.

Another great idea, Crin. Wow, must have been hard to sew, did you wear a thimble (I hope)??? This is going to be a great bag for holding anything!!

Here are some ideas that you can use to be kinder to the Earth and that you can give as gifts. a decorative gift bag is pretty and can be used again and again. Also it can be easier to wrap up gifts if your child wants to play and doesn't... See more more

Crin, I have an idea....like many in the world, my family doesn't have lots of money (but we're doing fine) so we try to be creative when someone could use a little help. When the husband of one of our neighbor's unexpectedly became very ill and had to be hospitalized it was tough on the family. The mom had two elementary age kids to care for, and, of course wanted to be with her husband. We asked them over for dinner, but she said she just wasn't up to it. So we made spaghetti with meatballs (not expensive when you make it yourself), bought some rolls and made brownies for dessert and brought supper to them. We brought over paper plates and cups and napkins...so cleanup would be quick and easy and she could get to the hospital faster. We dropped off the meal and let the family just eat together. Later, months after her husband had regained his health...this person knew someone in a similar situation...and she "took" our meal to go plan and did it for her friend. Don't ask,"What can I do?" Just do it. Smiles, Pat (P.S. Love your idea and your list)

That sounds like a great idea! A lot better then wringing your hands going, if only I could help. i will have to remember your idea.
