(07/23/11) Nerd Nuptials is delighted to bring you the second, one of a kind unique, Steampunk Bouquet! These paper flowers are upcycled from a Jane Austen anthology, in a modular origami style. Using thirty separate pieces, each flower is assembled petal by petal. The interior of the petals is painted metallic silver and the exterior is painted metallic gold, creating a stunning contrast. The flower stems are painted metallic copper and bound into a sturdy, stylish handle. The garnishing is what makes this bouquet really pop. Each flower's center features silver and copper colored cogs, scavenged from two old alarm clocks. Unlike the first bouquet, the elegantly draped chains hang from a link below the outermost petal, instead of at the edge. The antique copper colored chains are smaller linked, giving this bouquet a slightly more delicate appearance than the first.
