Front row seats for this. Happy birthday, @mikhail!

Ha, ha! I'm a huge theatre nerd but I've never had a burning desire to see Phantom. My boyfriend, though, listened to Phantom all the time growing up, because his mom used tp play the soundtrack a lot. So, he's stoked to see this. I was skeptical about the shortening of the show, but it seems like they've done a good job with it, and I'm impressed Hal Prince came back to it to restage it, etc. So, I'm assuming it will be enjoyable, even if I'm not a huge fan of Andrew Lloyd Weber's music.

I've been here but @mikhail wasn't able to make it when he visited Vegas last year. 'Tis on our list of Vegas-tastic activities. It's fun. My mom and I got crunk here once. Heh. And then spent two hours walking back and forth (and, um, taking the monorail back and forth) because we were drunk and lost. Ha, ha! Stay classy, Cristina & @anns.

Another nice Dublin pub. On the edge of the Temple Bar area so it's a bit less crazy than the pubs in the heart of the Temple Bar. I also stopped in once during the day for a bowl of really good homemade soup and a couple pints and it was just nice and quiet with friendly barmen. Plus there's this bit of ridiculousness in the bathroom. Ha! Recommended.

Stayed here for four nights at the beginning of my trip. I had a single room with my own bathroom. The room was incredibly tiny, but that wasn't a problem. The hostel was quiet, despite being full, the staff was helpful and nice, if not overly friendly. There's free internet in the main area. I can't speak to the hostel accommodations, but I'd definitely recommend the private rooms for travelers on a budget or who just want a bed to sleep in. The only downside is the shower - the water operated by pushing a button (much like sink faucets in public restrooms). After a short amount of time, the water stops flowing. I became a champ at showering with my finger or back pressing down the button.
