(01/24/09) This is my own design based loosely on the traditional Kyogen theater Kitsune (fox). It is carved from one piece of leather & hand shaped, using no molds or forms. Then I painted it with colorfast Liquitex acrylics. The colors for this mask are very traditional, as most Kyogen theater kitsune masks are white. The entire mask is then sealed with a waterproof clear coat acrylic. Little imperfections are part of the charm of this piece...no two will be alike. The mask will come with a suede loop for displaying on the wall & gold organza ribbons for wearing. Signed, dated original.See less
