i do not know what halloumi cheese is but these look great!

I think it's traditionally a mix of goat and sheep milk. And it doesn't melt like normal cheeses, so you can grill it and have it stay whole. This sounds so good I have to try this.

Here you go:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halloumi

thank you lc! hmm...goat and sheep milk. well the thought makes me kinda grossed out, but it looks so good. and the picture on wikipedia looks good because its grilled almost well done. whats the cheese that you can find in greek restaurants that they light on fire...? is it this?

I don't know. I know what you mean but I don't know what it is offhand. The stuff I read is that the halloumi you get here is more cows milk. I don't know how that would change it. I love goats milk cheese though. It's so...darn, I can't think of the word I want...mellow?

...is the word like tender? lol i dont know if thats a word to describe a cheese, but i think i know what you mean! heheh.

Lol. :) It's just different. I think mellow is a good word. It's just so smooth and creamy and yummy. I don't have it often, but get me near a good cheese place and watch out!

Haloumi cheese is soo good!

List Comments

Holy cow. I want all of this.

Oh, here we go. Talking about gaining weight, I didn't see it on your list, but the Applebee's spinach artichoke dip on my list will make you gain 10lbs easily just looking at it. Sigh. So yummy too.

omg, but its sooo good. i havent had the applebees one, but there are so many variations of that dip. and the crunchy toasted bread, yumm. but now im thinking of incorporating things like edamame, artichokes, and avocadoes into the things i make. these are good for you. i think. ;] if you have any recipes, let me know! pretty soon when i get all the basic ingredients i need, im going to start actually making all these recipes.

I'll send some recipes your way. I tend to do a lot more of that kind of stuff in the Summer. I love to grill and have learned how to grill almost anything. I especially love grilled veggies. There's so much you can do with them and most of it is so simple. I broke down and bought myself an indoor grill for Christmas and I am so loving it. I still need to learn the differences between indoor and outdoor but it already has me cooking better for myself this time of year. Otherwise I tend to rely on chilis and soups and not as healthy stuff, although I love chili and I add quite a bit of veggies to mine.

Between you, Lamerchick, and Hophead, I have my work cut out for me! All three of you have amazing looking recipes! If you are a cupcake fiend, check out http://cupcakeblog.com/index.php. This person has tons of delicious sounding cupcake recipes.

Hehe, I always get the munchies looking at this list, and hophead's and a couple of others too.

ohh i love that blog! she makes the most unique and interesting combinations of cupcakes!! i want to make the pistachio ones. i had pistachio cheesecake one time and it was delicious!!!

some of my recipes went missing! very weird..

Uh oh, the missing recipe phantom strikes again. Blame it on kabroskie. He's liable to eat anything. :) Seriously though, report it either using the Send Feedback link or post in the Kaboodle Group. If this is a problem they need to know.

kabroskie did say that he wanted this stuff... ;) ok, thanks! ill let them know. its not like i keep close track of my lists but its kind of obvious with this one.

i am officially hungry! great list :)

Yeah, didn't you have another blondie right there near the top, or was that someone else's list?

thank you :) and yes, thats how i noticed some were missing because i didnt see that one. i dont remember where i found those, but i was thinking maybe you cant copy from certain sites or something? i really dont know!!

I'd question it. I know some sites are difficult to copy from but I'm not aware that any don't allow you to. If there are it would be nice to know from K who they are so we don't waste our time? I'm going to ask. And I'd still report it anyway.

Wonderful list!

ill let kaboodle know too. and thanks!!

lol thx for dragging me into this, LC! hahah

Oh come on kabroskie, it was all in fun!!! :(

IM IN UR LISTZ EETIN UR RECIPES.

ps. OM NOM NOM

hahah thats pretty funny. but for real, i was hoping after all day they'd appear again but no..they are gone.

I haven't forgot you and recipes. I need to get organized. Warm weather the last couple days got me motivated. I warn you though most of my stuff is going to be for the grill.

You have brought back to life my addiction to dessert. I thank you!

no problem. im glad im good for that! and i enjoyed reading your comments on them. :-)

this list just keeps getter biggggerrrr. aw, so many things i want to make!

Start cooking. We'll come help you eat it. :)

Yummy list!

This list is so not helping me stay focused on my diet. Bah! ;)

I adore adore adore your list, ooooooooooooh, but for health reasons, I can never return to it again. It is sooo yummy, soooo flavorfull, soooo hard to resist.........

awww!!! im so sorry its like torture to you. :(

Lol. Lavabunny had to post Yummy List twice. :) Sigh.

This list made me hungry!Everything looks so good:)

This list has become so awesome girl. I could eat all Summer long from it. So yummy!!! :) I need to send you one of my favorite grilled tomato recipes. Remind me if I forget. I'll see if I can find it online, but it's in one of my cookbooks.

ok! im so happy you love & appreciate this list. makes me smile. :D i wish i could have all of the recipes ive found around here in book form. but its probably better for the environment that i just save it online, right? hmmph..i should start a list of recipes that are mainly healthy, because girl, im enjoyin summer a little too much..[with food..] so i have to cut back!

Lol, I'm enjoying it too. :) But I'm not cutting back. Heck, just workout more. :) I eat mostly healthy. And grilling is healthy since you lose so much of the fats. I print my recipes, but I need to organize them. I have to have something to write on for when I make changes and such otherwise I won't remember. And I do love this list. I couldn't get past the first page without wanting one of everything.

Hmph, I can't give it anymore hearts, so here <333333333333! :)

;-D aww. thank you!

I want to grow fat with this list by my side. Really.

awww, hahah. help yourself! =]
