Welcome aboard, and thanks for the add! The interesting thing about Kaboodle is that it's not very good for looking for anything in particular -- it's really about posting the interesting things or things you like from elsewhere (the "Add to Kaboodle" button is great for that), and meeting people with similar tastes. They see what you add and what you do with it (styleboards, blogazines, and lists of related items), comment on it, and you check out what they find and what they do with it, and that's when you tend to find things. I find it's most useful not for finding particular items, but new shopping sites that carry things more suited to your tastes than a lot of the run of the mill places that dominate search results.
