How can I explain the torrential waves of delight that knocked me down the minute I opened their box? I can't. In fact, I don't know why I got hired as a writer, because when I saw these shoes, these wild, fun, dangerously fabulous shoes - the sure deity of all footwear - I couldn't figure out how to describe them. Would it be enough to talk about the scalloped quilting on their rich crimson body? Would it suffice to say that 'the crazy flower upon its heel, whose every petal features a different fabric, is to die for?'
