These are our new, medium-sized fairy wings - Swallowtail Fae, in the aqua color scheme. These are meant to be larger, fancier, and curvier than our Punk Pixie style of wings. These have one large, "main" petal on each wing, and one long, trailing "tail" on each as well. The tails are made so that they stick out from your body more than lay to the side of it. There are then three little rounded petals positioned symmetrically around the wings. These wings have five petals on each wing, made from very sheer, hand-dyed silk. Each petal is edged in white, which prevents them from fraying. They are attached to a wire frame, but are only wired at the top of each petal, allowing the silk to hang and flutter in the breeze. At the base of the wings is a scroll, which allows you to wear them with any bodice that is open at your shoulder blades. Usually, a bra is enough to hold these in place, because they're so incredibly light. A corset will keep them from shifting, otherwise, a bandage right... See less
