have you ever wondered what the residents of the emerald city are up to, while dorothy is wandering around oz, and the wicked witch is scheming with her winged monkeys in her craggy tower? well! they all wear rings like these, which twinkle as they plant their emerald-bearing trees and dine on emerald fruit and delicate emerald-blossom tea... this ring is made of sterling silver, set with a piece of glass. i know, i know, it looks like an emerald... well, okay, maybe not quite. but it's pretty awesome anyway! it's a light grass green, and very clear and bright. i set it in a hand-made bezel which lifts it up (because the back is pointy, like a real emerald!). there are three little silver balls on each end (the silver under them got a little melty - i love it!). all the better to enjoy your emerald-dusted crumpets! this ring is a size 6-3/4, and has the word "courage" stamped on the inside of the band (cowardly lion, anyone??). This necklace was handcrafted using sterling silver wire, chain, and components. It features a "flower" with sprigs of beads and dyed freshwater cultured pearls. It is crafted out of stering silver coiled wire, genuine faceted ruby, peridot, and chrome diopside briolettes, faceted ruby rondelles, and dyed and white freshwater pearls. These pictures really do not do these ruby briolettes justice...their color is gorgeous! The center of the flower was created with a variety of freshwater cultured pearls and gemstone beads on shades of pink (pink topaz, rose quartz, pink tourmaline). This pendant measures 2 1/2" at its widest point, and the flower is about 1 1/4". It's a nice size...not so large that it makes it overpowering, yet large enough to make a statement! This necklace is adjustable from 15.5-18.5" in length, but I will be happy to adjust it if need be! See less
