The little bright yellow beads are so cheery. The heart has darling little flower stems that rise to meet the beads. I paired the brooch with an antique adjustable ring blank. This ring blank is perfect for small, medium or large fingers. I added a yellow button onto the back of the brooch that the ring blank is secured onto. Looks lovely. I thought it would make a beautiful necklace that would serve as a kind of talisman for happiness. After a Google search yielded no serotonin necklaces, I learned to make jewelry so that I could have one. Now, I am a full-time cobbler of silver molecules (and am much happier!). Funny the turns life gives us! Serotonin is the neurotransmitter molecule that induces feelings of happiness, satisfaction, and relaxation. SSRI medications, such as Prozac, work by increasing levels of serotonin. Of my whole molecule jewelry collection, the serotonin necklace is still my favorite.
