You are bidding on a unique matching pair of Star Wars mugs featuring Darth Vader and Chewbacca. These mugs are about 3 inches tall and are cream colored with black bases, stars, and busts of the characters. The mugs are coated in a clear glaze with a fine crackled texture. I bought these from a thrift store in Pennsylvania several years ago and I have never seen anything like them. I think they are hand made because there are variations in the thickness of the openings and there is evidence inside that the artist's fingers pressed the clay into molds of the characters. I believe these mugs were made when the original Star Wars movie came out, based on the style. The Chewbacca mug is not glazed on the bottom and the Darth Vader mug has a few chips on the bottom as if a label has been peeled off. There are also a couple bubbles in the clear glaze. With the exception of the noted flaws, these are in excellent condition (although I don't know if I would drink out of them)! A must have for... See less
