So many modern lesbian romances follow the basic formula of two women meet, one or both are anti-relationship because of a bad experience, fate intervenes and they fall deeply in love, living happily ever after. Such is the case with `Coyote Sky,' but the incredible Gerri Hill pulls this one off with such grace and class it's impossible NOT to fall in love and enjoy the ride. Popular mystery author, Kate Winters, has writer's block. She's invited to spend the summer with her friend Brenda in beautiful Coyote, New Mexico. Brenda's friends in this town are eccentric artists and the local sheriff, Lee Foxx. Kate is currently living with, but not in love with, Robin - and feels loyal to her even though their relationship is going south.
