The black finish, the orange back lighting, and the silver palm rest are all beautiful. This is hands down the best looking keyboard I've ever seen. The volume sliding feature is sweet and the shortcut keys are actually useful and don't require installing any additional software. But I do recommend installing the software that comes with it, as it will let you know your keyboards battery level and give you a warning when it's low. The software also allows you to configure the hotkeys to launch any program of choice. By default the media key opens Windows Media Player, which I changed to open iTunes. Cons: The black finish looks great, but it gets very dirty, very quickly. Fingerprints, dust, and just about anything will mar its appearance which quickly reducing its beauty.
