Like all Rachel's shoes each is unique, hand-built from earthenware and hand-painted with angobes and underglaze, glazed and burnt as a single unit on an oblong ceramic box. (11/11/09) this is sure to keep someone little very comfy and cozy! the quilt measures 32x38", and would make the perfect gift for a new baby's nursery. the colors and fabrics make it completely gender neutral! this quilt is made from a bright variety of red and aqua designer fabrics. some designers include denyse schmidt and heather ross! a handful of these fabrics are even out of print, thus very hard to find, making this quilt just a bit more special. the backing is a funky aqua and seafoam houndstooth pattern. the quilt has been machine quilted in a random linear pattern, and the binding was also machine sewn. this quilt may be machine washed on gentle. however, i absolutely recommend line drying to avoid shrinking and to lengthen the life of the quilt (though, it may be tumble dried on low if necessary).See less
