(12/08/11) This beret is made from 100% virgin wool in pumpkin and trimmed in a wool/acrylic blend in graham cracker -- or pumpkin pie spice -- whichever you prefer! Wear it flat, wear it perched at an angle -- do whatever makes your heart happy! It is 11 1/2" in diameter, and meant for an average woman's / small man's head of 22" -- although, being wool yarn, there is some flexibility on sizing. Too big? thread some elastic thread through the bottom edging. Too small? Steam and stretch! Handmade by me while watching a few episodes of I Spy last week, so it's fresh out of the oven. (12/08/11) 1. To make a batch, cut a butternut squash into quarters and scoop out the seeds. 2. Boil, bake, or microwave the squash until it's soft. Let the squash cool a bit before scooping its flesh into a medium-size bowl. 3. Add pure maple syrup, light cream, and pumpkin pie spice to the bowl. Use a potato masher to mush the squash and blend all of the ingredients. 4. Spoon the mixture into ice pop molds (we were able to fill 10), add sticks, and freeze for at least 6 hours before serving.See less

In fact, since it's Pumpkin Pie, the cocktail falls into the category that I like to call "caketails." The recipe comes from the folks over at Van Gogh Vodka who naturally recommend their very own vanilla flavored vodka as the base, but any vanilla-flavored vodka will do! I have no idea where you would get something as specific as "pumpkin liqueur," but I suspect your creative mixologist's imagination will figure something out. Pumpkin Pie Martini Mix 1 oz. Vanilla Vodka, ½ oz. Licor 43, 1 oz. pumpkin liqueur, ½ oz. Bailey's Irish Cream, a splash butterscotch Schnapps and ice. Shake, then pour and sprinkle with ¼ tsp. pumpkin pie spice.
