At least four localities in the US claim to be the "Popcorn Capital of the World": Marion, Ohio; Ridgeway, Illinois; Schaller, Iowa; and North Loup, Nebraska. In an apparent attempt to solidify their commitment to the title Illinois made popcorn the official state snack and in October 2006 they unveiled the world's largest popcorn ball weighing 3,415 pounds with a circumference of 24.5 feet! A word to the adults: "Hot, Fresh, Delicious Popcorn!" We're offering sets of 6 vintage, yet unused and clean, popcorn boxes with a fantastic scalloped upper edge and the iconic red and white stripes. These would make fantastic containers to fill with goodies for the little guests at Jr's circus or movie themed birthday party. Place one at each place setting with a popcorn ball and movie rental gift certificate...or a bag of peanuts and a circus animal figurine. Or you could...fill them with popcorn. See less
