The pink and black theme fits the persona of Marilyn perfectly, but the storm cloud adds a little hint or darkness telling more about her life. The painting also includes abstract views of the city, from the view of the streets. Although not ready for hanging, this piece can easily be made so. It is on a 24"x24" piece of wood, about 1/2" thick. The wood adds another nice contrast to the glam of Marilyn, but doesn't take away from it.
