How to: Step 1 Brush out a 2-inch-wide bang section and secure back with two bobby pins. Loosen a bit with your fingers by tugging at the hairline. Step 2 Now you're left with a section of hair over each ear. Run your index finger from behind your left ear up to the crown of your head. Smooth this section of hair into a low ponytail behind your left ear then twist the pony twice toward the back of your head. Secure the remaining tail with bobby pins, then repeat on the right side. Connect the two twists with a bobby pin. Step 3 And that leaves the always fashionable "mullet" at the nape of your neck. You can leave it like that. We're all done. Step 4 Just kidding. Back to the mullet. Hold your left index and middle finger under the bobby pins in Step 2, and roll a messy 1-inch section of hair up around your fingers to create a coil. Pinch it, slip it off your fingers and secure with a bobby pin. Don't attach it to the twists in Step 2 or you'll pull them out. Repeat with remaining hair... See less

The zenith of a true woodland experience, now--not only can you admire the antlers of forest stags, you can wear your own petite pair. I have created these antique bronze antlers from polymer clay (a durable, heat-cured plastic compound.) They have been formed and carved by hand. I create each antler one by one in a time-intensive process, so no two antlers will be exactly alike, just like a real stags' (though they will not vary too much from the ones pictured.) Each antler is given a metallic surface treatment and is sealed with an acrylic gloss. They are securely mounted on curved bobby pins and measure approximately 2 1/4" in length. Unlike a real stag's antlers which are designed for the rigors of challenging rival stags, these pins will need to be treated considerably gentler. :o) These hair pins are quite durable and are made to flex rather than snap, but they are also very slender and will need to be treated with care. Perfect for the fashionable, woodland-loving belle, a pair of twig hairpins glimmer with antique appeal. I've created this pair of detailed branch hairpins in bronzed polymer clay (a durable, heat-cured plastic compound.) Each twig has been molded in my own custom mold from real branches, and then treated with an antique bronze surface treatment for a special rustic feel. They are securely attached to frosty chocolate colored bobby pins and have been sealed with an acrylic gloss. Pins measure 2 1/4" in total length. Please note, that while these twig pins are quite durable, they are also very slender and will need to be treated gently. When putting them in, be careful not to bend the twigs, or lean your head on a hard surface while wearing them (though I can't imagine why anyone would want to do that.) ;-) You will receive a new, unworn pair.
