Lukewarm is the enemy Okay, water is awesome. We can’t deny that. And perhaps its best feature is that it can freeze (You know that "ice" stuff? That's made of water!). And not to mention that when frozen, it’s practically perfect for warm beverages.... See more more

I don't particularly like classic cotton candy, but when I tried Jose Ramon Andres's foie gras cotton candy it was so freaking fantastic it ignited my appreciation for it. Besides, serving spun sugar on a stick at home is just plain cool.

There's something risque about this cake plate, which makes me have a love-hate relationship with it.

OH MY are these good. So good, in fact, that if you are a person with no will power, I recommend you steer clear of them. Just because they're minis doesn't mean you can't eat your weight's worth of them!

Peanut Butter Pearls

Pearls of creamy organic peanut butter and dark milk chocolate with a crispy center. They're the newest thing in addiction.

Comments (1)

OMG are these good. The best part: You can pop a few in your mouth and feel satisfied, which is a huge boon for me since I can easily down a few packs of Reese's just to get that salty-sweet satisfaction!

Okay, so let me just say up front that I am not a low-calorie girl. I believe in full-fat milk, cheese, ice cream, and virtually everything else. Moderation is key here, but if I'm going to indulge, I'm not going half way. That said, these new "Pop Chips" are surprisingly good. They are not fried so they don't grease up the fingers. They are not baked so they don't taste bland. They are "popped" (whatever that means). More importantly, they are tasty.

Just how much of a foodie are you? This trivia game allows you to stir up the proverbial pot on just who knows the most about the deliciously snobby, fancy, and fun world of food.

This seems like a game which I'd be good at.

What do you get the gourmet who has everything? Artisan-infused sea salts! I'm not talking lavender-kissed combos, though those exist here, too. Think fennel pollen or truffle-tinged salts and lemon thyme or smoked chili. A sprinkle of any of these turns ordinary to extraordinary. Seriously.

Indulge your sweet tooth! Caroline’s Cakes offers a tantalizing variety of mouthwatering Southern cakes for every occasion. Order one today!

Comments (1)

I've been testing mail-order cakes for InStyle magazine (I know, rough job...). When the southern style Seven Layer Caramel Cake created by a South Carolina native arrived at my door I was blown away. Luckily I didn't taste it until I brought it to a dinner party (and thus had to leave it behind) because with its wicked combo of salty and sweet, I could have easily eaten half of the thing in one sitting. Trust me, their cake is full-on fierce!

I sent this to Thomas Keller as a thank you gift several years ago. He loved it! The only way to top off a Bacon of the Month club gift is to add a bacon-scented candle on the side. Long live pork!
