A Woman of Power: Hillary Clinton Former First Lady, New York Senator, ranked as one of the world’s most powerful people, appearing in both the Time 100 list of Time Magazine and Forbes. Ignoring her and keeping her off the list would have been injustice and a great slight on the part of these publications. We are talking about a woman of power, Hillary Rodham Clinton, the first woman to run as President of the United States in this century. The White House Bill Clinton became the 42nd U.S. President in 1993. With their only daughter Chelsea, Hillary moved in with her husband to the White House. Even Bill Clinton himself acknowledged his wife’s contribution to his administration, once declaring that if the American people elected him, they would receive ‘two for the price of one’.
