Last year we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to purchase over 120 UNWORN Sarmi gowns and cocktail dresses from the estate of Leonard Gold, former CFO of Sarmi. Over the next few months we will be adding them all to Vintageous and you will see everything from chic and elegant chiffon toga gowns to wacky op-art shifts, to cellophane embroidered laces, gowns in some of the most stunning, lavish fabrics you have ever seen to simple poly day dresses. Welcome to the Sarmi Collection at Vintageous! A FANTASTIC Sarmi cocktail dress in a unique lace embroidered with black and silver mylar and gold metal, all over a dark aqua blue chiffon. Sleeveless, fitted dress with a low scalloped "v" neckline and a high back. Dress has a black satin unerbust band with bow. Scalloped, stiffened hemline. Side nylon zipper. Strapless, fitted bodice (may have had spaghetti straps at one time?). Straight, fitted skirt has an INCREDIBLE attached half overskirt lined in beige taffeta. SO dramatic! By Emma Domb. A small semi-circular water spot at the front hem (not that bad). Two tiny spot on the rear of the bodice. A litle seam stress.... See less

A FANTABULOUS 1950's prom dress in ivory nylon with pink and red floral embroidery. Strapless, fitted bodice with pleated bust inset. Stunning, contrasting cherry red (blue red) waist with large bow at the rear. Dress has a SUPER full skirt done in layer upon layer of embroidered, scalloped ruffles (this dress has an attached crinoline, but is also shown here with an additional crinoline... not included). Striking Ivory Chiffon Strapless Prom Dress w/ Red Flocking Item v4967 ... Price: $145 A striking 1950's prom dress in ivory nylon chiffon with cherry red flocking on the skirt. Strapless, fitted bodice with gathered bustline. Red satin waistband with bow. Dress has a semi-full skirt with a attached crinoline (shown here with an additional thin crinoline... not included). Size (need help with your measurements? click here): 33" bust, 25" waist, full hips. Approximately 34" from underarm to hem. Condition: In wearable condition. Possibly not quite as bright as it once was. A little underarm yellow. The main issue is that the woman I purchased this from tried to hand wash it (sigh...) and in the process, the ribbon at the waist bled and caused some pinkish color transfer below the waist and in two places next to the bodice seams....
