Hits and Misses of the BAFTAs Red Carpet
The British Academy of Film and Television held its annual awards ceremony in London last night and plenty of Hollywood celebs worked the red carpet aside actors more known for their work in the UK. Let's see how everyone fared in the style department—and don't forget to let us know what you think in the comments!

Michelle Williams wore a custom designed H&M dress—yes, you read that correctly! The Swedish retailer, in collaboration with Williams' stylist Kate Young created the dress just for Michelle. It's simple and very typical for her, but she does look very sweet.
Oh, dear. The always gorgeous Christina Hendricks continued her streak of wearing unfortunately unflattering gowns, this one from Vivienne Westwood, on the red carpet. And what's up with her hair? Christina, you can do better.
Jessica Chastain looked more interesting than she has recently in a gold Oscar de la Renta.
Colin Firth and his lovely wife Livia Giuggiolo were very matchy, both in tuxes—his from Armani and hers from Paul Smith. The standout, though, was Livia's sparkly green clutch.

The Help stars Viola Davis, in a Valentino, the fabric of which was made from recycled bottles, and Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji separates, both looked sassy.
I'm not sure if Melissa George was nominated for anything or just rocking the red carpet for the sake of doing so, but she looked extra sultry in a sequined Victoria Beckham gown.
Downton Abbey's Jessica Brown-Findlay dressed appropriately for the forty-degree weather in a long-sleeved Alessandra Rich dress. While the dress might be seen as a little "old" for her, I liked that she dressed modestly and for the weather.
Meryl Streep looked better than she has for a long time in a black Vivienne Westwood. If only Christina Hendricks' Westwood were tailored so well to her figure.
