Few fashion faux pas to me are as tragic as being able to see through a woman's skirt. Sadly, I think our modern way of dressing has made us forget about foundational pieces like slips. Even more sadly, this has led to me looking at too many bums through too-sheer skirts and dresses. That's where this slip from Adea ($97) comes in.

I was lucky enough to try it out recently and I'm loving it (and I'm something of a slip fiend). This full slip is made from an Italian microfiber that resists static (it really does!) and features a slide slit for ease of walking. Adea also makes a half-slip ($59) and a shorter full slip ($87) (in both nude and black) to keep you looking appropriately modest whatever you're wearing.
