I received the latest Talbots catalog in the mail today and liked a lot of what I saw. In its continuing attempt to attract a younger, more fashion-forward clientele, Talbots has lots of really cute basics on offer right now. We were especially drawn to this sassy cobalt blue crepe skirt. The side slits and sash add fun touches to what would otherwise be an ordinary pencil skirt. And, best of all, it's available in sizes from 2 to 24 (and from 2 to 22 petite)!

My MIL shops there frequently because of their wide range of petite offerings. I've noticed lately that I've liked quite a few of her picks - I was a little worried about that, til I see others are liking some of their stuff, too, and that they are trying to attract the younger set.
