Welcome to my Shiba Inu pottery site. I am happy that you found us! Relax and take your time to enjoy! | I mad the traditional Japanese potteries from scratch, and hand paint shiba inu pictures. Two different shades of clay are used to express the gentliness and depth. Paint is called `etsuke.` I use two differemt shades from the traditional paint store in Kyoto, and I have been searching for my own shade. | I make potteries. Compared to the ceramics, potteries are rather fragile. So please use your best care to handle them. You need to dry the potteries completely after the use to prevent possible molds from forming. As long as the time is short, you can use them in microwave. And they are dishwasher-safe. Some say that you need to boil potteries before the first use, but I use them without such handling. And so far I have not seen any problems. | I do not use anything that contains lead and... so they are completely safe for food items. They are made to be used!!! See less
