This is one of my new favorites! I'll be making more in this style for the fall. The bodice of this dress is made out of vintage reproduction of cottons from the 30's and forties. The soft black cotton has an abstact block flower print and the yellow cotton is printed with white cherries. There is a small peter pan collar and tiny black buttons running up the neck. The circle skirt is a cherry red, fine wale corduroy that drapes nicely and is very flattering. It has a band of the black cotton print running along the bottom. The dress zips up the back. This dress will fit up to a 34" bust and 28" waist so, about a size 0/2. See less

This dress zips up the back. *I believe that it is a rayon, but cannot be sure since I bought it second hand. It is lightweight with a slight shine and drapes nicely. The top layer is double pleated and has two rows of sheer insets. The underskirt of the same seersucker fabric, is gathered and attached at the top of the first row of sheer fabric underneath. This makes a very full skirt. Would look wonderful with a big crinoline petticoat underneath. Please check measurements carefully. While it is tagged as a size 6, that is an old size 6, not modern and I believe it is girl's dress. It has a shorter bodice and the darts on the dress were too high on my model. Perhaps this is a junior size or petite? My model is a size 4-6 and it was too tight to zip up on her. Length of bodice, from top of shoulder to seam of skirt, about 15-1/2 inches.
