Most databases here are free. I have been doing research since 1999 and have personally documented my family in 8 countries with more than 2450+ people in my tree. There are links here that do require paid access to a portion of their site. These are well worth it.

The standard addition is free. I LOVE this program and it's easy to use. The upgrades are a fair cost (not like the $100+ you would pay for other software). I have used many family tree software programs and this one is the best, hands down.

FABULOUS free family tree software

I agree it is the best out there. Added feature is the list of people from 1600-present. Doesn't have everyone in it, but when you are completing from 1659 - present every little bit helps.
