This bed reminds me of a big sleigh, I love the look you won't go wrong with this.

Even though this is curved, I think the dark color and cool texture gives a masculine feel.

I used to work at Pier 1 and their furniture is cheap. That rattan or wicker will begin to peel and the paint will come off it. I would not recommend it for anything other than a guest room, which will not be used often. If you purchase it yourself it won't last long enough to justify the purchase. I would highly recommend you purchase your furniture from somewhere else; even though the bed set is nice-looking it is not functional.
