(11/20/09) Reviewed By: Pariah on 11/19/2009 Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week Pros: -The AI director has been re-written and is used better to beat down the players to try and break their psyche. Special infected, common, and uncommon infected all have a higher sense of staying concealed, while still doing massive damage. -The new game-play modes are intense. If you thought the first one was hard, then you will be pushed to your limits on expert with realism enabled. -The new dynamic dismemberment system is more brutal than any game currently out. -The new finale event mechanics add a whole new level of realism to the survivors trying to escape. -The newly designed campaigns are fantastic in their structure, and well polished, as we've come to expect from Valve. -New weapons, new weapon upgrades, and new humorous voice acting.
